Anyone who knows me is aware of my interest in Tilda Swinton that often borders on a star struck obsession. Imagine my joy, then, at recently discovering via a good friend, that Tilda had collaborated with a young and experimental French fragrance company on a cologne!

Inspired by the love poem by Rumi ‘Like This’, Tilda selected a magical blend of scents  including Yellow Tangerine, Ginger, Moroccan Neroli  and finished with a hint of Musk. When I heard of this I rushed to the white-painted corner store in the Marais, Paris. On my first visit there I was amused by the naughty names of their other colognes, such as Fat Electrician and Tom of Finland. I took one of those slim paper scent samples of ‘Like This’ away with me, and pinned it carefully to a page in my diary. For weeks I’d open my diary, daily, and be captured by the ravishing scent of ginger and tangerine. Finally, I gave in to the temptation and bought a bottle for myself. Like This.
