We are now halfway through the new SS18 collections and one major trend is already emerging. It’s actually more a sequel at this point than a complete new one as it’s reprising last season plaid trend aka “daddy look” we almost saw everywhere. Gosha Rubchinskiy was the first one to reintroduce it this season with his collaboration with Burberry, some sort of homage to the Terrace Fashion microtrend very popular in the UK in the late 70s. Gosha was also the first one to offer a different take on it, a departure from the classic grunge or classic tailoring references we are seeing this season (Fendi, MSGM, Moncler, Marcelo Burlon, Palm Angels, n21 or Sunnei).
