I always question myself why I’m posting a story or featuring a brand, first wondering if you might like but also if it’s relevance. Some labels resonate or capture better than others what trends and menswear can be or should be. COS is one of them. While being an international and sought-after commercial brand, COS’s design team always engage in different conversations, challenging men’s staples, silhouettes, color palettes and uniforms. Spring Summer 17 is no exception with a ravishing bohemian theme developed throughout the collection. The new season’s silhouette was revisited with lighter textures and a more generous fit both applied to shorts, t-shirts but also jackets and pants. Suits and coats feel more casual transitioning perfectly from day to night.
An Indian inspired color palette of ochre, yellow, brick and also light green and grey gives a delicate touch, embracing subtly the season runway’s trends while not being too obvious or overwhelming like of most of COS does.
