George Cox and Fred Perry have been collaborating since quite some time now. The monkey boots were one of the first foray a couple of seasons ago. This spring sees a surprising update of the classic creeper. Originally designed around WWII, George Cox was the first to commercially launched it with a thick rubber sole in 1949 from his Northamptonshire (UK) factory. This iteration combined different elements of both of stories, the traditional tennis sneaker from Fred Perry and the monkey boots stitching and bold rubber sole from Cox’s original shoes. You will also notice a smooth shiny leather giving a discreet modern in addition of the traditional suede upper.
